Annet Mahendru
Mahendru was born to a Russian mother from India and a Hindu Afghan father. Mahendru fluently speaks German Russian English. Her parents are Russian as well as Indian. At age 11 she choreographed a performance which earned her a spot on German TV as a graceful Russian snow maiden who transforms into an energetic Indian dancer. Her high school graduation was in New York and received a bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. The classes she took in acting were in the HB Studios. She later left to pursue improvisational comedy at the Groundlings School. She was born to the mother of an Afghani Hindu-Indian and Russian father, who lived in Kabul, Afghanistan. She moved into East Meadow New York, with her father when she was 13, and is now starring alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel on FX's The Americans. Her role on FX's The Americans as Nina Sergeevna Krilova is perhaps her most memorable TV performance. She also had recurring roles on The Following on Fox, The Following as well as the NBC show The Blacklist.
